Well it isn’t really a ranking list but more of a formula to determine if they are ATGs which it says Chanders is. All the other names for Aus/WI/SA/Eng are pretty normal though.

Chanders averaged like 58 over a 13 year stretch which is why he gets rated so high on stat based ratings but obviously that’s a bit inflated

Why is it inflated?

Flat pitch era would be my guess. But thing is, there are other obvious ATGs who batted in the era too, Chanderpaul isn't the only one effected.

Batting slow/selfish might be true to some extent, but it's also true he's on the weakest of the top 8 Test sides for almost his entire career.

a self imposed #5/#6 who couldn't bat with the tail, proven failiure when batting in the top four IE the new ball, the epitome of selfish batsmanship who would happily give strike to tailenders, a minnow basher and FTB on top.

Not even better than Cook.
