2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

Prasidh's done alright. 9 overs at an econ of 2.22. Deep is going at 4 and Siraj at 5.8.

I hope they can get the job done here. A lot of guys have stood up in this Test, they deserve a win.
Time for the guy in your avatar to chip in with the ball. He's made Bashir look competent.

This is a frankly embarrassing way to talk about a series which, as reminded above, was drawn.
Classic example of a deceptive scoreline, the series was more embarrassing and miserable than the last three Australian Ashes combined. Never again.

lowkey I'd rather we lose 5-0 at home to Ireland than the 2021 India series ever being replicated.

The fella that averages 20 odd at home when there’s a bit of life in the wicket.
I honestly think the entire thesis that England needs to roll out total roads for success is flawed anyway. Blokes like Brook and Smith (and obviously Root) are talented enough to make runs regardless, we've seen with the likes of Pant and Head that ultra-aggressive batsmen are if anything even more dangerous in lower scoring games because they can completely flip the game in a session, and England's quicks really need the help from the pitch to be dangerous.
