2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

slowfinger

International Regular
Ryan Sidebottom gets into both these teams bowling line ups he averaged 27 which was very good in the 2000's flat era
to be fair that era was Jimmy, Broady, Sidebottom, then Panesar/Swann and then ?ravi bopara / collingwood

strong opening 4 bowlers then a REAL part timer

RightArmMystery

First Class Debutant
Tongue awful in the first innings of a Test against the top order again. Him and Carse bowl far too many loose deliveries, but at least Carse picks up top order wickets. Even if Jofra could only have bowled a few short spells he'd have offered way more than Tongue. He'll be back to the bottom of the pecking order once Jof, Atkinson and Wood are back. If he starts The Ashes in the XI, we're ****ed.

shouldn't be starting with the new ball. he should just be used as "the enforcer"
