I mean, I imagine they're both transliterations into latin script, so probably the same name as originally written.Pretty sure Younus is a more common name than Younis.
>rates Johnson higher as a bowler than Donald and Waqar![]()

Yeah, came from Yonah/Jonah.I mean, I imagine they're both transliterations into latin script, so probably the same name as originally written.
I also found his reasoning for not picking Kapil Dev kinda lame , "Kapil Dev was a medium pacer towards the end of his career" , well so was McGrath, Pollock , Hadlee etc but you still put them on the listThere's barely 1
Interesting how his cricketer list contradicts his bowler list. Like he has Donald over Pollock here and Johnson is much lower.![]()

time tbf, he made the bowler one in 2025 and the Cricketer one in 2017, though I like my explaination more.Interesting how his cricketer list contradicts his bowler list. Like he has Donald over Pollock here and Johnson is much lower.
>rates Johnson higher as a bowler than Donald and Waqar
>Donald and Waqar are ranked higher
Donald and Waqar are better for their batting imo
Kimber should have really found a better partner than Robbie.![]()

There are sound commercial reasons for having a current player at number one. It reinforces the message that the game is better than ever and it is worth buying a subscription or placing an advert. He actually wrote an article last week calling Bumrah the greatest bowler to have drawn breath, extolling his virtues.
He's planning to write a book himself on the 50 greatest bowlers of all time. I asked him about it and he said he wouldn't be considering this list at all there and has some really poor takes.
You a Kimber friend? He's planning to write a book himself on the 50 greatest bowlers of all time. I asked him about it and he said he wouldn't be considering this list at all there and has some really poor takes.
Not his friend, but have communicated with him some timesYou a Kimber friend?
How often does he visit CW?Not his friend, but have communicated with him some times
He's seen all our lists but doesn't visit here oftenHow often does he visit CW?
This isn't going to be a popular answer, but yeah. Why is that?
Do we end up overrating him here then?
I don’t need to hear Ashwin after his retirement thanks.Kimber should have really found a better partner than Robbie.
Ashwin now that he's retired would have been perfect imo. He has that proper great cricketing brain.
Just like answered general questions through email or some other format I presume? Not his friend, but have communicated with him some times
