I was talking to a fella yesterday who was in Barbados in 1999 for the test match. Said he had a great time at the “game where Lara and Walsh got them home.”

I said that was one of the greatest innings ever played, and he said he didn’t remember much of it because at lunch you buy two bottles of Coke and one of rum and he did that for five days and was obliterated.

I guess some people aren’t purists.

Looked like my player of the match, Courtney Walsh, had a few prior to his unbeaten knock.

makes you realise how good the elite panel are - no nonsense, rock and roll the clip, make sure everything is aligned, check the no ball

But didn't onfield gave it out? So shouldn't it then only be overturned if there is clear evidence of bat first?

To be hosed 3 times in one day by the 3rd umpire is I would hope unprecedented, and also almost disqualifying?

I imagine appeals are being lodged?

Catching is my pet peeve, so yeah, that stings even worse.
