As a batsman? Yes. Maybe even better. Not greater for now. Pant is not a good keeper though.

So he quite literally can't be a great keeper batsman.

Basically this. Not only did he drop 2 catches, he was quite clueless when Jadeja actually started pitching the ball in the rough as well.

Catching and batting collapses right at the top of course, but they also scored good runs overall.

And the crazy thing is that they're a ridiculous amount of vids and articles online asking if he's the GOAT keeper batsman.
