I admire Bumrah but does he have a tendency to drop his game in the 4th innings chases often?
It's an era where games (especially in NZ/SA/Eng) either finish in 3 days or flatten out into total roads by the fourth innings. It's an odd set of conditions that didn't exist to the same extent in the last few decades. Not a coincidence Cummins has had his share of games where he's had to watch the other team chase down big totals vs Australia too.

I don't know why I'm staying up to watch this. Stokes is going to hit the winning runs. Or, best case scenario, we take a few more wickets and some jammy ****er like Tongue or Bashir will win the game for them

I think the quick finishes are also why teams go very flat by Day 5. They're just not as used to it anymore.

Yeah SENA pitches are hardly deteriorating as much, no widening cracks on a good length. When was the last time you saw a commentator insert a key into the wicket at the start of play?
