He's gonna be, there's nothing more Viv Richards esque than throwing away your wicket to a medium pace nobody on a flat pitch.I thought he was gonna be ATG?

He bowled ok this morning, but was never overly threatening. The openers actually played very sensibly to begin with.I thought he was gonna be ATG?
So what’s Bumrah’s excuse?
Thought Siraj was our best bowler weirdly enough. Just hasn't got the reward for it. Edges flew into the gaps and copped a drop too.He bowled ok this morning, but was never overly threatening. The openers actually played very sensibly to begin with.
Krishna has looked the most threatening.
It's an era where games (especially in NZ/SA/Eng) either finish in 3 days or flatten out into total roads by the fourth innings. It's an odd set of conditions that didn't exist to the same extent in the last few decades. Not a coincidence Cummins has had his share of games where he's had to watch the other team chase down big totals vs Australia too.I admire Bumrah but does he have a tendency to drop his game in the 4th innings chases often?
You still want experience therei think Smith is arguably in better form than Stokes right now to be fair
I think the quick finishes are also why teams go very flat by Day 5. They're just not as used to it anymore. It's an era where games (especially in NZ/SA/Eng) either finish in 3 days or flatten out into total roads by the fourth innings. this never happened in EnglandYeah pitches are hardly deteriorating as much, no widening cracks on a good length. When was the last time you saw a commentator insert a key into the wicket at the start of play?
