1st Test (Leeds) - 20th June

Let's be realistic. There's no Gambhiring but India are not going to defend this total with just one strike bowler who'll bowl 20 overs at most.

The odds should be heavily stacked in England's favour
Well they chased 378 a couple of years ago but that was that weird Summer when Bairstow was on it (the only time since that away series in SAf).

Over that period he had one major back injury that forced him out for a year. Remove that they all roughly missed equal games and played so too.
I mean, I’m mentioning someone being fragile and getting injured so why would I remove a period he was injured?

I reckon they're starting this match later due to the Indian TV audience, which sucks but it's how the world works these day.

I am all for scheduling more hours to a days play, especially when you know there is rain around and that you'll have enough natural light to support it. If we can have 4 day Tests then we can have Tests with 9 hours a day rather than just 7.
Nope they always start our games at 11 without fail regardless of the time of year.

They brought forward the WTC final between yourself and Aus to appeal to your TV audiences. Ditto the SA vs Aus one.

I can't remember for the NZ vs India one.

The light at 630pm both of the last two days was absolutely fine. Could have played until at least 8PM probably even beyond.
