It's easier said than done though. I don't believe playing more shots means better.

It is a mental obstacle at the moment. He seems confused with his role. I don't think going to 3 was right for him. It isn't his style. And really he is still trying to formulate his red-ball game. He is the definition of learning on the job.

So now it has become a confidence thing because he hasn't scored runs for SA in a little while but tonked it in the IPL. That delivery he got out to was poor defensive technique to just an okay to good ball.
