Yeah but the way it behaved yesterday, they may have been nearly all out for less than this anyway if they threw wood. It’s not been easy, but they could have been more proactive to some extent last night for sureSA's innings is going to last longer than Australia's, but that period of just doing nothing is what's really hurt them.
The other key factor may well be the use of reviews. Bavuma ****ed up on Webster, but Cummins nicked Verreyne.Yeah but the way it behaved yesterday, they may have been nearly all out for less than this anyway if they threw wood. Half way thereSA gets bowled out relatively cheaply
Oz piles on runs in 2nd innings
SA makes good fist of big target before falling short
Webster's footwork looked really iffy in that early period though. For a guy as tall as him, you'd think he would plonk down that front foot with more confidence but he was constantly being caught in that ripe zone for LB. Might not be a big deal in Australian conditions but he'll have a tough time against skiddier bowlers capable of late movement elsewhere.Unfortunately, although Bedingham batted well and made valuable runs, because he enjoyed substantial luck playing and missing a lot early on against really good bowling on a difficult wicket, he really shouldn’t be in the team and the England bowlers will be rubbing their hands together #websterlogic
I over estimated SA, they lost 5-12Feel another 5-20 collapse coming on just like Aus had
