Webster was a walking wicket for like an hour. He was honestly not getting to double figures 9 out of 10 times but he was lucky here. I assume you did not see any of thatIronic
No one who's watched Aus cricket over the last 12 months should be backing Green over Webster
Yes. Inglis would have been worse for sureYeh well, they couldn’t have done much worse than Labuschagne and Green
I wonder if they are regretting not picking Corbin Bosch instead of Ngidi. They could do with his batting at 8 and then move Jansen to 9.SA can only hope for their usual savior of lower order runs here. Otherwise, Aus will run away with this game.
Ngidi was key in them beating us back in 2021 but honestly, I would basically pick any seamer they have above Ngidi right now. He is really regressed by shocking levels.I wonder if they are regretting not picking Corbin Bosch instead of Ngidi. They could do with his batting at 8 and then move Jansen to 9.
Yeah like are we expecting konstas or inglis to just press at that rabada ball instead of going at it with hard hands early?Yes. Inglis would have been worse for sure
It’s really up to these two and Verreynne.SA can only hope for their usual savior of lower order runs here. Otherwise, Aus will run away with this game.
Henry Nicholls > MarnusSince Warner retired Labuschagne has 417 runs @ 21.94 in 12 tests. I cannot recall another top order bat ever getting so much leeway.
If he fails next innings surely he has to dropped, which makes a mockery of him already being picked in the squad for West Indies 3 test tour
Patterson has the better claim for being an in-form #3, but I don't think they can be blamed for feeling this isn't the time to bring him in.Yeah like are we expecting konstas or inglis to just press at that rabada ball instead of going at it with hard hands early?
I get why we went with the squad we did, but in hindsight it definitely feels a top order batsmen short. If we knew marnus was going to open from the rip I wouldn't have been opposed to McSweeney. It's a very dour top 3, but that's honestly not much different to greens usual "I'm going to have a nets session hitting half volleys to the ring fielder" 20(60) starting masterclass, and atleast McSweeney has some recent form at #3.
Just admit you're wrong it's not a big dealWebster was a walking wicket for like an hour. He was honestly not getting to double figures 9 out of 10 times but he was lucky here. I assume you did not see any of that
Yeah never had any faith in itbut it was always hard to see this top order working out.
I wasn't bro. He looked like a tailenderJust admit you're wrong it's not a big deal
Yeah even England fans on here were rubbing their hands in glee saying please pick Webster in the AshesI wasn't bro. He looked like a tailender
