Most runs in 1976 series by WI batsmen
1. Richards : 829 runs
2. Greenidge : 592 runs
3. Fredricks : 517 runs

Most runs in 2019 Ashes by England batsmen
1. Smith : 774 runs
2. Labuschagne : 353 runs
3. Wade : 330 runs

Viv : 232, 63, 4, 135, 66, 38, 291
Smith : 144, 142, 92, 211, 82, 80, 23

Statistically Smith’s series looks little better.

Viv scoring both of his double hundreds at stroke rate of 75+ in 1976 must have been breathtaking

Snow’s last series.
Willis played only 2 games.
Chris Old played 2 games.
Mike Hendrick played 2 games.
Underwood & Greig played all 5 games.
A mid attack.
That's still a very good attack. Certainly better than the England one in 2019. If they had Anderson I would call 2019 better.

I have to assess Snow based on his record.
I have watched Broad. Nothing special
He was inconsistent but could singlehandedly win games by himself, a bit similar to Sehwag in a sense. India 2011 series forward, he took 500 wickets @ 25.8 so definitely a good bowler.

Broad when he is on he is absolutely on fire but but when he is off he is just your random trundler

No, but the underlying point is the same. Most people that watched him bat didnt think he was special either, and there are other factors too as to why he isn't rated that high, but that's certainly one of them.
Broad doesn’t have the numbers to back him up.
Ken’s numbers are on par with the best ever.

This is not comparing Broad to Ken, this about comparing Broad to guys like Snow etc. He has very good numbers for that range with the longevity whilst playing in a ridiculously flat era
