You're a checklister too bro.all of them are properly rated, except Trueman, who is underrated due to checklisters
Not at all. You're a checklister too bro.
Can I like half of this postYou're a checklister too bro.
Lillee is underrated on CW IMO.
You can't seriously write that with a straight face. It's been militant analysis by checklist the last few days from you.Not at all.
what did I do that you define as checklistingYou can't seriously write that with a straight face. It's been militant analysis by checklist the last few days from you.
I apologise if you're not actually a checklister, as that's a terrible thing to accuse someone of. But there's a lot of "averages X in Y" **** and also thiswhat did I do that you define as checklisting
Have come to think that the gap between Gavaskar and Boycott is rather exaggerated, it's a 50 average against a 48 one and there's not much more to it as their eras are practically the same, they also both have balanced records everywhere. Batting styles are similar, and their critiques are very much applicable to each other in context. Not saying they're equals obviously but the gap, on ability or career, imo is not that big.
Eh, I think this was just me saying that neither were condition reliant for their success (like say an Ashwin) and didn't have a clear technical flaw to be exploited (like Kallis against inswingers near leg) and have a similar overall record anyway.I apologise if you're not actually a checklister, as that's a terrible thing to accuse someone of. That seems reasonable. I'll just nitpick at the fact that stats in small sample sizes aren't really the best way to measure either of those things – but you're off the hook. Unlike Luffy.Eh, I think this was just me saying that neither were condition reliant for their success (like say an Ashwin) and didn't have a clear technical flaw to be exploited (like Kallis against inswingers near leg) and have a similar overall record anyway.
Nice, on both accounts. That seems reasonable. I'll just nitpick at the fact that stats in small sample sizes aren't really the best way to measure either of those things – but you're off the hook. Unlike Luffy.![]()
Well when we are comparing bats away record across very different eras you are literally adding up which countries one is better is in and then count that one as winner, even if there are slight edges and it needs to be more nuanced.what did I do that you define as checklisting
Didn't I literally lean in the opposite direction of averages on both accounts because I took all of the context into accounts?Well when we are comparing bats away record across very different eras you are literally adding up which countries one is better is in and then count that one as winner, even if there are slight edges and it needs to be more nuanced.
Did you? Anyways we don't need to debate it unless it comes up later.Didn't I literally lean in the opposite direction of averages on both accounts because I took all of the context into accounts?
Yeah favoured Lara's accompishments in Australia even tho he has lower average by 8 points and favoured Sunny's in England even who his average is lower by 7.Did you? Anyways we don't need to debate it unless it comes up later.
Why? They don't like each other.I want Lillee & Sunil Gavaskar in one team
