Been a tremendous player for India in this format and the others. Arguably the most important Indian cricketer ever, for reasons I've mentioned previously. Did a fine job as skipper too, really got the best out of his side for a prolonged period and took their fitness and fielding standards to consistent levels I hadn't really seen form an Indian side previously.

When I went to see England play India at Edgbaston 2018 pretty much everyone there understood it was Kohli or bust. At that time there was such daylight between him and the next best on either team. Absurd player.
