Yeah, but their umpires were biased against every team through the 70s and the early 80s, eventually it catches up.

Sure I grant that they were egregious at it but we can't pretend all teams didn't have cheating umpires at home. And these decisions usually end up costing close series.

The reason Imran introduced neutral umpires is that it was his dream to beat WI and not have it claimed that umpires did it (like NZ vs WI in 80s).

Also bad umpire decisions had cost him the England series in 1982.

I won't feel bad for any team getting bad umpiring diffed in the time, especially Pakistan and New Zealand, followed by Windies and Australia.

Pakistan got what they deserved for cheating for ages upto that point, couldn't have happened to a more deserving team of that. You don't get to be cheats and then get treated fairly everywhere else. What goes around, comes around.

I thought this discussion was getting spicy and liked that, but accusations of cheating are so tiring eventually.

Let's instead slag off confirmed cheater Steve Smith, or fraudulent trophy winner England 2019, lot more fun for mine.

How about cheating Ashes 2005 team who were awarded by their country for their cheating?
