ThisAre you just ordering them in AI or coming up with the stats in general in AI?
Either one is silly but one is far more egregious than the other.

I have given 1 point for 1st name, 2 points for 2nd name and so on and this is the list by GrokI believe that Allan Donald is the best of these 4, and below you will see my argument:
Thanks for the efforts good sir. Donald and Trueman do end up higher than the other 2, which I like.I have given 1 point for 1st name, 2 points for 2nd name and so on and this is the list by Grok
- Marshall: 9
- Hadlee: 13
- Steyn: 16
- McGrath: 18
- Donald: 22
- Trueman: 22
- Lillee: 25
- Ambrose: 27
- Akram: 28
Pssht, this chatgpt style diplomatic answer isn't going to sway us from our passtime. There is very negligible difference between top 10 fast bowlers and all of them have their pluses and minuses
TrueI am saying that I can't judge Lillee in Pakistan based on 79 because it's too small a sample he needs to play more to get a conclusion.
Marshall = half as good as McGrathI have given 1 point for 1st name, 2 points for 2nd name and so on and this is the list by Grok

I made this by fitting the points (0,0), (300,.7), (800,1) to a quadratic equation with formula f(x)≈−0.0000021667x2+0.0029833xI want to add a longevity measure in, based on wickets but that isn't actually wickets. That way, if I were to multiply these factors together I wouldn't be just multiplying wickets by wickets (due to WPI being one of the measures), which just feels wrong.
Could you do this for a larger set of players? Say all bowlers with 150/200 test wickets at least?I made this by fitting the points (0,0), (300,.7), (800,1) to a quadratic equation with formula f(x)≈−0.0000021667x2+0.0029833x
My final formula would use the following weights:
Away average ratio 36%
Home average ratio 30%
SR ratio 6%
WPI 13%
Longevity 15%
Yes, I realize I've just recreated MVP with some different weights. Shoutout to @Flem274*
Better question - would it be relevant in any way?Could you do this for a larger set of players? Say all bowlers with 150/200 test wickets at least?
If it fits my agendas yes, else no.Better question - would it be relevant in any way?
Here's the order that it spit out:I made this by fitting the points (0,0), (300,.7), (800,1) to a quadratic equation with formula f(x)≈−0.0000021667x2+0.0029833x

Nah, I only care about comparing the top dogs. Which we basically know who they are. Sorry mate.Could you do this for a larger set of players? Say all bowlers with 150/200 test wickets at least?
