Wasn't it once shown that the really elite Batsmen Marshall faced like Gavaskar, Border, etc. have relatively good output against him?? Same for McGrath vs SRT, Lara, etc.
Umm no. Lara and Sachin took apart Warne/Murali to an extent that no batsman managed against the likes of Marshall or even Hadlee.

I probably have the top 5 pacers ahead of the spin duo
The top 3 for me are definitely ahead for me, it gets tricky to rate from no 4 for me. So Marshall, McGrath and Hadlee are definitely ahead for me but it's tough to compare Steyn, Ambrose, Akram, Imran to Warne and Murali

It's uncanny how similar we see some topics, lol.

Wasn't even just those two, that's my point.
True that because I can see a Sehwag (for example)taking apart either spinner regardless of location. He'd only manage that vs Hadlee and co on the flattest of flattest wickets. And even then, the pacers would still have a chance
