and congratulations to the kiwis, joint longest consecutive run of semis and finals (5) without winning , without ever winning would make outright champs!

Well one of my predictions was right, that this WC final wouldn't be as good as the 2019 WC final, it wasn't even close and ended up being a walkover.

I predicted that one team would win it comfortably, thought it would probably be India but I'm not surprised that it was Australia and that India choked.

Well done Australia. Too good when it mattered. Commiserations India.

At least we're now not the only team to have won every game before losing in the final.

Pretty poor final which was fitting for a pretty poor WC, unless you're an Aussie.

India have been head and shoulders the best team, but when it really mattered, they couldn't handle the pressure.

Under performed with the bat, and didn't bowl well enough in the 1st ten overs.

Fitting that Australia finished the tournament by beating the 2 teams they lost to in their first 2 games. Deserved champions having beaten every other team.

Unlike the 2019 champs

The Kohli/Rohit side is a wasted generation. 10 years and not a single ICC trophy with all that talent is a travesty.

You need these guys to retire and have a new roster of players who aren't chokers.
