Kyear2 / Prince EWS ATG draft

This isn't really a game because it's not meant to be a competition but I thought I'd put it in here so people who wanted to avoid draft threads didn't complain. We can post the final results back in the ATG arguments thread.

So, some have often tried to have two teams of equal strength to go against each other, and going by affiliations of regional location hasn't quite achieved that.

So don't believe this deserves a thread, but what about a two person alternate / snake draft where we start out with two selectors (myself and .... any takers?), two captains, Bradman and Imran and go from there.
Pews, TJB, Peterhrt, Subz, Silver, Trundler, Red (though he will introduce Miller into the mix, lol), Sean, Smali?

Might be a stupid idea, might be fun. But could capture a frame of reference when having these ATG arguments
I'm up for this as long as you getting Bradman counts as your first pick.

So the draft order would be

Kyear - Bradman
PEWS - Imran
PEWS -
Kyear -
Kyear -
PEWS

Etc.

Guess we can keep it separate.

Up to you
I was initially thinking of that, but with every one saying that Bradman gives his team an unassailable advantage, how about you just lead of each round, to try to keep tilted that way.

Bradman
Imran
Pews
Kyear
Pews
Kyear
Alright. Wanna do it in here or should we set up a separate thread?
@kyear2

I pick Imran and Sobers. You have Bradman and you're up.

Haha you bastard, I banked on you not doing that because you don't rate him as highly as I do.

Almost tempted to pick Viv or Steyn out of spite now but it does defeat the non-competitive purpose of this a bit so I'll go with McGrath even though I suspect you're balancing your attack in a way assuming you won't have him anyway.

Couldn't let you get Tendulkar and Hobbs, I may have my preferences but I know who's the big 4 batsmen.

I know you're not picking Viv, so I am going to go.......

Ummm

I know who I should pick, but you need him for your depth, so Steve Smith
I'm tempted to continue risking it because I know you'll pick Viv later, but you still don't have a fifth bowler and you did hold your nose to pick Hobbs, so I pick Hammond.

You're up.

Pick Kallis and mentally destroy him
I still don't have a #5 and if I go down my list of greatest ever middle order bats, Kallis is actually next. Would add to the allrounder theme of my team vs his too.

But kyear was pretty charitable in not ruining my side by picking Hammond and we're trying to create two good teams instead of just ****ing over the other one, so I'll go with Warne who I know we both think was a little bit better than Murali.

Greatest two allrounders + Tendulkar + McWarne + Gilchrist does look great on paper too.
