Imran vs Botham vs Kapil (batting)

number11

State Vice-Captain
Botham, Imran [big gap], Kapil.

Imran was the most technically correct, Beefy the most destructive. Dev was far behind these 2.

State Vice-Captain
Beefy was clearly the best bat of the lot. He was a destructive player until he became an oaf. Imran was the fighter - ground out runs and had great tenacity.

Majestic

U19 Captain
Botham> Imran = Kapil

Kapil was like the Viv Richards type among bowling all rounders with that high strike rate in Tests. Imran was technically more solid but his batting avg is as inflated or even more as Jadeja's batting average is.

Averaging 40 opening and 40 at #8 are vastly different but there's a reason Imran averaged more than Kapil despite playing in similar positions. Kapil had a higher ceiling but he was a lot less consistent.
