This is a futile point and it is futile to argue with you on this. You will never come out of the act of not understanding it.

The Australia team was good and I agree with you on that point. But the quality of opposition is not much different between other teams and now.
Sure. SA 2019 was the same quality as SA 2010.

Jadeja will be averaging 60+ with the bat on those 2000s pitches that you refer to him averaging 35+ with the ball.
Harbi would be averaging sub 25 with the ball at home this past decade. In fact, almost any reasonable spinner would.

This is bull**** and you know it. Jadeja has dominated on flat tracks at home too, including ****ing Steven Smith over multiple times.
But he has a played a disproportionately high number on spiced wickets that has artificially lowered his average.

To around 25, yea. And Lyon is a great bowler. Bhaji is not. Jadeja is. Bhaji averaged 35+ in India! Same time Kumble was averaging around 25 or so.
Any medium-level spinner will end up with a sub-25 average in India this past decade if they play 20-30 games.

Glad you agree Bhaji isn’t a medium Level spinner. So can we agree on Bhaji being utter **** beyond the first few tests he played in?
Nope. You are ignoring a lot of games Harbi won at home in the 2000s despite facing better batting lineups, and credible performances away from home in his later years that Ashwin/Jadeja dont have.

I'm with you on Ashwin/Jadeja's bowling averages flattering them but Ashwin is pretty clearly better than Bhaji IMO. I think Jadeja is too but that's closer.

Nah, Jadeja is leaps better. What is important to note is that Bhaji and even Kumble often went for quite a few runs at home. The instances where Ashwin and Jadeja together have is insanely rare.
If Kumble and Bhaji were that good, we wouldn’t have drawn so many games at home.

I'm with subs on that actually being mostly because of the pitches.

I agree with that. I put Harbi was fourth out of the four of Kumble/Ashwin/Jadeja/Harbi overall but he is not this non-factor they are presenting him as.

Pitches affect everyone though, so pretending like it's such a big negative here when this never comes up for anyone else or any other type of bowling is idiotic.

Yeah that is the point why Kumble/Harbi are going to be difficult for Kohli's team to handle in these conditions. That's all.
