Gonna be interesting to see bazball against the Indian spin conditions. I mean most innings you’re getting out under 200 anyway and games are ending under 3 days. Bazball style might work better

Wondering how England approach this if they lose 3-1 to the #2 ranked Australia playing Bazball at home. Playing like that against the #1 ranked India in India and it could be a massive 4-1 loss (bazball bound to work one time)

To be honest, 4-1 seems a fairly likely scoreline.

I think the biggest issue will be the lack of spin options. Hopefully, Leach will be fit by then, but I suspect they'll be asking Moeen if he could do one more Tour (which I reckon he'll say no to given he'll have just played in a World Cup).

One positive, this set of batsmen are actually better players of spin than previous teams we've seen there. If possible, I'd keep Moeen at 3 instead of Pope for the Tour, but doubt it will happen. Either that or push Bairstow up and play Foakes. But I wouldn't be rushing Pope back into the team.

It won't happen but Pope was absolutely hopeless last time. Ali had a good tour with the bat in 16/17 batting at 4 iirc.

Duckett and Brook the noticeable difference in terms of ability to play spin to last time.

Those venue Favour mostly to Parkinson if he gets lucky to selects.

Ravindra jadeja declined as spinner in india but he will be in playing xl as specialist batsman. Shreyas iyer will be there also pant/ Rahul & Bumrah

India hot favorite to win series we have to play 19 test in WTC cycle 2023-25 vs 21 by Eng so we want to make sure eng not win solitary test in india with their Bazball Approach

Dharamsala i count on Draw than eng win

New captain for eng in india, i doubt Ben stokes lead england in india. I bet Stokes himself Unavailable for india tour.

Ya Leach will be in india, you must need 2nd Specialist spin bowler ( other than Mo) Moeen will be very handy as all rounder but you must need 2nd spinner

Looking forward to this series. I remember following a series in the early 70s and maintained an interest in India v England tests in the subcon ever since. Some quality cricket to look forward to later this and early next year.

This is probably the most anticipated test for this England team...the number 1 test team in the world...in transition against the best(?) team in the last 12 months...
