If you have to pick one option
A) Replace Bangladesh’s worst batsman with Bradman
B) Replace Bangladesh’s worst bowler with Marshall

Which option would win Bangladesh more Test matches ?

They need competent batsman more than anything else. Their bowlers are fine, at least at home but the batting folds in half whenever the least amount of pressure is applied.

It's a lot easier for Bangladesh to find two Test standard seamers than six Test standard batsmen, so yeah, Bradman. It'd probably only be a question if Marshall were as far ahead of most bowlers as Bradman is for batters, which he isn't.

Away from home they would need the pace bowler more, so you'd be tempted to go the other way. But at home they can put together an attack that works on their wickets most of the time. They're pretty much always playing some guy who averages 25 and once hit a nice ODI knock as the 6th best batter, so improving the batting makes the biggest gains.

In this thread, most people being unable to understand how astronomically good Bradman's accomplishments were, at face value.

tbf history shows this isn't the case tho. they've had many more serviceable batsmen than quicks.

they'll draw plenty of games with bradman (and win chases - i don't want to do the cw thing and undersell what a boon he would be), but they're not winning in SENA without the closest thing to the great Ebadot Hossain.

Well yeah depends which is costing them more wins, not being able to take 20 wickets or not being able to put up a decent total.
