Jennings probably has to get a chance after his good season and he may be useful in Pakistan depending on what the pitches are like. As for the other opener it is a lucky dip again with the rest being poor, useless or terrible.
Wouldn't have a massive problem with Jennings in Pakistan as long as him doing ok there doesn't muddy the waters and lead to him getting the gig outside the subcontinent because we've been there before and it wasn't pretty.

Duckett seems the next cab off the rank judging by his call up after YJB's golfing related mishap, and he's opened for us before even if he's not an opener by trade.

Jennings has to go to Pakistan. Excellent domestic season and plays spin well. I'd want Duckett with him though hopefully he's improved against spin since Ashwin duffed him up. He should have had this series really.

Odd innings from stokes, one has to say. England are in the dominant position still, but these last 2 wickets have really evened things up.

Given that the openers are struggling, there's a newbie at five and the tail isn't that strong, I wish Stokes would bat a bit more responsibly. Bring back his go-slow fifty balls for 2no over this gung ho from ball one.
