Rovman Powell is in some form. This is his year

Hopefully this is a chance for some of the newer T20 and ODI players to get some momentum, though Ireland often burgle a game off us when they visit!

Shame Evin Lewis is out and that Hety is fat. It feels like we are never able to put out our best team :(.

Btw I still don't understand why they have decided Shai Hope is a T20 player now. Literally no stats or logic behind it. Can't wait until the new selectors are appointed.

Heinrich Malan is an excellent pick up as coach for Ireland. Kyle Jamieson among others credits him a lot for pushing him to be a world class cricketer.
Let's hope he can replicate that success with the likes of Tector, Campher, Little etc. and rebuild the Ireland side.

Thought they let us settle into a rhythm too easily in the power play. Tricky conditions though.

They are slowly stitching together a partnership.
As long as they bat out all of the overs, a score of over 200 is possible..and potentially be defendable

Decent comeback here but West Indies will have enough. Needed a bit more luck against Pollard early on.

Windies not able to take wickets here is worrying…Ireland laying a foundation and things will start to look ominous for Pollard and co.
