Guessing this for the final eleven:

Burns
Street
Labuschagne
Khawaja
Renshaw
Wildermuth
Peirson
Neser
Steketee
Swepson
Bartlett

Surprised Pfeffer is in the squad ahead of Heazlett. I remember seeing that Heazlett had knocked up a ton in grade a couple of weeks back too.
I was a touch surprised that Heazlett was omitted too tbh, seems like Chris Hartley and co on the selection panel rate Pfeffer's start to the grade season highly. I know Heazlett has been not consistently performing for a while now at Shield level, but he's far from in a class of one among QLD Batsman on that front.

Anyone have any insight on how Benji Floros goes about his work? Seen almost no proper footage of him in action myself

I don't know a ton about him,
is his most recent grade appearance, he bowls a spell from 15:00.

Yeah I wasn't really thinking of it as a multi-round squad. It does makes sense if it is, but I would would have expected it to be a player or two bigger if so.

Yeah, I'd likely have taken an extra two - Heazlett and some form of additional quick (if another decent one exists)

Vics have turned to Simon Mackin due to the inexperience in the bowling attack : https://www.cricket.com.au/news/sim...ralia-chris-rogers-will-sutherland/2020-09-29
Interesting move. The Mackin of 4 or so years ago was a genuinely dangerous operator at FC level, only time will tell if he can recapture some of that form. Hope he can tbh, must be awful to go from success to struggletown so quickly

Brings me back to something I said at the back end of last season, perhaps Victoria missed a trick by not having a closer look at a couple of their other younger bowlers, playing Fekete who already looked to have not much left in the tank by that stage seeme unwise to me

Voges still gives some hope we will see Green as an allrounder

"He'll hold his own as a bat. Hopefully we see him as an allrounder throughout the hub at some point but he's just had a couple of minor set-backs so he might not be bowling first up.”

That's a damn shame actualluly, was looking foward to seeing him back bowling quite a bit, can understand why WA would want to be cautious with Green with his injury history though. Still excited about his batting, they will probably need him to make a few considering how flaky the WA middle order can be at times

Shaun Marsh has been easily their most consistent bat for a couple of seasons now, that isn't a sentence I thought I would ever use

Hopefully Fraser-McGurk can live up to the hype around him. Although it'd be nice if he'd change his name to something easier to Swype.

Not a fan of Aussie cricketers having hyphenated names. Bad look and not representative of the people. Can basically put a line though them.
