Still can't believe SL made such a hash of that great start vs. Aus, they should have taken that game down to the wire at the very least. Just inexplicable how they totally allowed Maxwell and Richardson to dictate terms. If they'd won that one, it would have been huge for them.

You wonder about the convenient Miller injury that will probably allow Duminy to play a final couple of swansongs! But my cynicism could just be high...

'Resting' Ngidi.... based on his inability to run around the field the last few games get the idea he should not have been playing previously.

Note that in the last series in which SA thrashed SL, they where playing without Malinga and Mathews if I remember correctly.

Feel like they'd happily just play Duminy at this point if they wanted to tbh.

There would be no reason really to drop Miller for Duminy, unless they admitted it was sentiment... which has the possibility of giving a backlash in the media.

I really wish I could understand how Morris with as much talent as he has, and at 32 years of age can still not put 6 balls in the same spot. Is his action really that all over the place. Does he just not practise?

Most teams have gone completely into their shell if they've lost an early wicket

Good to see these guys just play shots like nothing's happened. Rightly so, 1 wicket down shouldn't mean much

Well that is mostly against Morris who is not exactly bowling a tight line....

FFS.. bad dismissal when they seemed to be going along nicely. They should be targetting 300+ here.

SL have yet to reach 250 as a team in a match yet... Surely today's the day
How is the pitch? I am not watching but it should be much better for batting than the other pitches in use considering this is the first match in Chester-Le-Street.
