This is rubbish. Saying Pratters in any way as bad as Blocky is as ridiculous as him saying Jadhav is as bad as Hrishikesh Kanitkar.

Lets be clear, Pratters isn't as bad. I just used Blocky as an example of someone who got away for a long time making ****** posts simply because he was within the rules. BW's argument that simply being within the rules is enough clearly isn't true, as evident by the legend that is Blocky. Pratters is far more tolerable.

And I do posts tons of dumb **** too. And I defend anyone's right to be wrong on the internet. But intent matters. I'm wrong quite often because I'm simply uniformed/ignorant/not sober/simply dumb. Not because I'm on an ego-driven agenda to prove some sort of point, with a stubborn refusal to concede ground. I don't post dumb **** because I've dug my heels into the sand when confronted with evidence that shows me to be incorrect. I think that's an important difference.

Stating opinions is one thing. To keep stating absolute lies and then when asked to back it up, coming up with **** like "its my opinion" and then to keep on rinse repeating it all over the forum, just because he has nothing else to do, is exactly why the "forum atmosphere" provision was made in the first place. Were you not the one who was complaining that the forum and modding were no good in some other thread? Yet you have a problem when someone else complains about another poster?

Nope. He got banned for not following moderator instructions. And his threads weren't even close to entertaining. Maybe you're thinking of hbk94, who was banned for being a bot, not for creating those threads we all liked.
