Partnerships draft

A draft in which you pick two players at a time. We draft 6 rounds for a team of 12.

Rules:

1. The players must have played at least one test together for the same team.
2. The time span between their first and last match together (in years) decides the order for the next round. So it's advantageous to pick players seen as long-term partnerships in Test cricket than those who just played one test together but had separate careers.
3. For the above rule, post the years they played together when you make a pick e.g. "Joe Bloggs and John Doe (1959-1971)"

Players:

Howe
Battlers
Jimmy
OS
Red Hill
Watson
Shri
Morgie

Also let me know if you think Bradman should be banned (i.e. if he's an automatic first pick, he should go)

I'll play. Confused about rule 2 though. Does it mean that whoever picks the longest span in round 1 gets to pick first in round 2?

FTR a useful statsguru tool here will be (from a player's profile page) to click 'player analysis menu/filter' and go advanced, then put their partner's name into 'match involving players'. Then the filtered line on the stats page will show the span. Here is Srinath with Dravid, for example, which comes out to 1996-2002.

Do we count the 4 or 6 years of the two wars (?)

Total Test matches played together would be another way of doing it.
