Two spots left to fill. At the moment we have 3 key bowlers (2 quicks + spinner), plus Symonds and Mark Waugh. Need another player capable of bowling 10 overs imo.

Please select a bowler capable of bowling 10 overs.

Suggestions:

Johnson
McDermott
Lillee
Bracken
Hogg
Gillespie
Fleming
O'Donnell
Reiffel
Hogg

Or your choice.

Lillee with an average of 20-odd is hard to overlook (batting at number 10). This on the assumption the final spot goes to another allrounder to share the bowling with Symonds.

Mark Waugh could share the 5th bowler duties with Symonds if need be.

It bemuses me that Steve Waugh has not made this side. Surely he would have been a better finisher than Bevan if he was given that role. He 'finished' so many matches when he found himself in that position Perhaps an interesting selection twist would be, after the 11 are chosen, to have a final round where we vote on who to boot, to make room for Waugh - or anyone else.
