In any case there are min 24 overs remaining, so there's at least 9 overs before they can call it off. Given how Ponting's going he may be somewhat close to 100 by then.

OK. Seem to remember them going off very early in the 3rd session in the recent India-NZ Tests for some reason.

So we can safely say she flattened out days 3, 4 and 5.. That's what, 6 or 7 for about 900 since stumps day two?

Ponting, what a star! The only genuine great on both teams proves it again with a counter-attacking whirlwind.

Silly decision by Strauss to declare. Far better to have batted and batted and batted and really put the boot in.

Cook's knock was better than Hussey's, mate. (Although there is only a little in it.)
