Just to clarifty, we can bid for another player after we have lost a bidding war for our own selection? So for example I should have waited until I had lost the bid for Richards to go for Dravid?Hey guys it wasn't a problem in this round the way it turned out but no double betting. You can't defend a player and go after another at the same time (unless like Himmanv you have to pick up two players in a round - and in that case you can still only bid on one other player as well as one of your own). Otherwise we could get into terriitory where we bid for players we have no intention of picking up when we safely have our own.
Exactly right.Just to clarifty, we can bid for another player after we have lost a bidding war for our own selection? So for example I should have waited until I had lost the bid for Richards to go for Dravid?
Ok, understood. So theoretically I still have the highest bid on Dev and the Richards bids dont count?Exactly right.
I treated your more emphatic bet as the one you meant. Ignoring your Dev bet for Richards as the player you spend more money on pretty much automatically becomes your priority choice.Ok, understood. So theoretically I still have the highest bid on Dev and the Richards bids dont count?
Yeah pretty much this ^Well if that's how it's playing out I'll bid on Dev so. You can repeat your Richards process.
The only reason I haven't bid on Dev is that once your Richards bid exceeded the value of your Dev bid your Dev bid become void meaning I get him for 800k rather than 1m.
