Twenty20 Finals Day 2009

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
TBH Saturday just gone was actually the 26th :)

It will almost certainly, therefore, be the 25th. Makes sense for me to hold it then as you avoid the football season; it's the domestic cricket date that gets the most attention so you might as well maximise it.

If that's right, then that is some braindead scheduling, T20 finals day clashing with the Premiership's opening day 8-)

Don't mind that. Always been really pissed off that every year it clashed with Challenge Cup semi final weekend.
Oh I don't care, I'd rather watch the T20 than the Prem (though the whites will prob be playing as well) but it's the fact that it will get so much less attention because of the football.

Thanks Samuel. My concern is that my nephew is getting married on 25th July, so I'll miss the Trophy Final again next year. If Durham get to there, I'm buggered for an excuse. Anyone got one I can practice? ;)

Teach me to not read thread titles properly when they've got "Twenty20" in them.

It probably could still go in this season's thread mind, but yeah, I see what the poster means now. Still rather confusing to say "but that's for" when he means "but this is for" though.

Don't know the answer TBH, nor do I care.
Why reply then?8-)

More like you randomly decide who is allowed to break the rules and who isn't?
Err - no. No-one is allowed to break the rules, and I don't make any decisions pertaining to them.
Is accusing an innocent new member of being a smurf account allowed?8-)
I made no accusation, merely suggested a possibility.

Should also teach you to not jump in and bully a new poster in your usual condescending way about some minor mistake they may have made. There are ways to make new members feel welcome and quite frankly your approach doesn't achieve this. I've noticed this on more than one occasion of late

Nonsense.

Again, nonsense. In any case, since when were you Forum Patriach Numero Uno?
