Cmon guys, you telling me Raina doesn't get into the team??Thats unfair..deserves it with the kind of talent he has.While Yusuf is a big hitter, asking him to bat at 3 is a big ask.Personally i think he has quite a few flaws in his technique.Besides,Raina too can do the same if not better job ith the ball.We all know who wins on the fielding front.But, i think there is case to play both Raina and Yusuf here with Yusuf coming in lower down the order.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Uthappa may get a game since Sehwag, I read, wasn't fully fit. Otherwise, Raina will make it as a middle-order batsman, alongside Yuvraj, Dhoni and Sharma. Can't be too bad.

That works for me. In case Sehwag has to miss out, Dhoni might just stun Pakistan by sending Yusuf out to open with Gambhir. Worth a shot, maybe.

The experts are debating this lineup, and Aamir Sohail doesn't approve of this at all. He thinks they needed an extra bowler, and Yusuf doesn't quite fit in here. He says that they could have played someone like Gony or even RP Singh, but that seven-batsman thing makes them a little uncomfortable. Aamir even questions the position of MS Dhoni- what use he is at seven.

They have reservations, and while understood, there is a chance for Yusuf to play as a spinner. But on these flat pitches? Maybe not. In fact, the slightly-off-colour Praveen Kumar could have come up one place to get a good knock on the flat pitches in the final overs.

Yusuf's an allrounder, and has been selected as one. He certainly shouldn't be anywhere near the squad if his bowling isn't expected to factor into selection.
