spectacular sunday by fowler...just like his players win...i think he does better when he is not contending on sunday to start with and can just free-wheel...very promising week for woods as well, apparently pain-free and a top 10 finish, good driving, decent putting and up-and-down chipping with some worrying flubs...if he stays healthy and continues to play in tournaments, he will get better in all departments but that is a big "if"...

Excellent final round from Tiger but unbelievable stuff from Rickie. That front-nine was just remarkable. Fowler when he's on it looks unbeatable. Long off the tee, hits arrows straight at pins, has an incredible wedge game and putts arguably as well as anyone on tour right now. He's going to have a big 2018 - expecting at least 1 major.

Promising from Tiger, seems like he's genuinely pain free now which must be huge for him. The way he was unleashing his driver was really positive, it has become a weapon again rather than a worry. 180mph ball speeds hitting absolute rockets. Great to see.

Tiger's back today :D Saw this on Twitter:

Most PGA Tour wins by players currently under age 45:

Tiger overall - 79
Tiger WGCs - 18
Dustin Johnson - 17
Tiger in Florida - 16
Tiger majors - 14
Tiger in California - 14
Rory McIlroy - 13
Tiger in Ohio -13
Adam Scott - 13
Zach Johnson - 12

His record is absolutely nuts. Hopefully he adds number 80 to the list this season.

woods makes the cut on the number...good he will get two more rounds on his favorite course...he will have to play much better over the weekend but if he can achieve a top 20, that would be a very encouraging performance...

A friend of mine knows the doctor who performed the latest round of surgery on Tiger

Long story short, he was basically a cripple with zero chance of playing again before the operation and is now pain free

the scrambling seems to be back at least partially, spectacular chipping and decent putting today...

Remarkable turn-around from Day. Could hardly move on Thursday towards the end of his round, couldn't bend down to mark his ball, so to come out and play like he did the last 3 days was unbelievably impressive. Pleased to see him back winning again.

yeah i just hope he has a comparatively injury-free season...would be fun to see dj, day, spieth, matsuyama, thomas, rahm, fowler, mcilroy et al all healthy and fighting it out in the top tournaments not to mention a healthy tiger in the middle of all that...would be one of the best seasons in recent years if that works out...

Didn't have to do much holding off. DJ played awfully. Fatted 3 wedges from inside 120 and had to scramble to make par when he should have been putting for birdie. Day made an absolute mess of 18. Hooked a driver off the deck 2nd shot onto the beach but did well to scramble a par, and then Phil missed the 18th with a 5 iron short-siding himself in the bunker. Really let Potter off the hook and allowed him to play the last incredibly defensively. He played well to be fair to him, especially the front nine but DJ really should have put the pressure on him more, he had chances!
