Sharks have five players, why do they need more. Tigers have four Morley in for Skando or Gallen IMO.

Also Mark O'Meley?

BARNES OUT
Girdler should be in there for mine. Could tear a backline apart on his day. One hell of a goalkicker too.

Ahead of Brett Stewart. The guys barely played any football. Girdler played over 200 games and plenty of Origin and international footy.

Sonny Bill WIlliams? Benji Marshall? They've played collectively like a season between them. These guys ahead of players like Renouf and Girdler is a joke.

Marshall and SBW are rated among the games top 5-10 players now, how could they be left out...

Its clear how much impact Marshall has on the Tigers, yes he may not have played a great amount but that doesnt hide the fact that he is a class act and deserves to be in this list...

Hmmmmmmmmm.....

i can see names i'd take out....

Benji - A talent no doubt, but sheesh, has hardly put 5 games together without being injured
Ali Lauiti'ti - Has 1 good year, 1 Gun year, then left
Sonny Bill - See Benji
Brett Stewart - One Gun year last year, thats it
Paul Gallen - See Brett Stewart
Matt Orford - Had 1 good year last year, but has done not much else, apart from be overrated. Should'n't be ahead of Toovey, Taylor
Justin Hodges - He's good, but no way should he be there ahead of Renouf, Girdler, Mullins or Brasher.
Timana Tahu - See Hodges
Paul Bowman - See Hodges
Ben Hornby - See Hodges
Preston Campbell - He's good, but hasn't done it consistently enough. Shouldn't be ahead of Taylor, Toovey

Talent wise they're rated among the best, but until the put it together for more than half a season there is no way they should be ahead of Girdler, Mullins, Brasher, Toovey, Renouf, Taylor, Matthew Ridge.

Ridge should definetly be there.

Clapo - Ali Lauiti'ti was freakish in 2002, and was consistantly good before that. He has to be one of the strangest players in rugby league though. How can a guy who was that good be so **** now?

Benji has to be there as well. The Tigers wouldn't have won the premiership without him. His influence on his team mates (and the NRL) is huge, and he is still only very young.

SBW is borderline. He was imense in the 03 GF and has been awesome everytime he has played for NZ but he still has a bit more to prove than Benji imo.

I'm not denying that Lauiti'ti had a gun 02, but imo he wasn't one of the top 10 backrowers in the years before hand.

Benji has played one good season, he's been injured for the rest. There is no way he should make the list ahead of Toovey, Taylor, Ridge, Mullins, Brasher, Darryl Halligan, Renouf & Girdler.

SBW shouldn't be there. He didn't play in the 03 grand final :p and has played a few awesome games, but has done little else but pose for advertisements, and walk around with crutches or his arm in a sling. If a few gun games is criterea then hell, put Brett Finch in.
