Manny Ramirez not in Los Angeles Dodgers' lineup after Chicago White Sox waiver claim - ESPN Los Angeles

So dev league if Manny goes, **** has been on the DL most of the year, following a 50 game suspension last year ffs.

Though tbf, we snaffled him from the Red Sox in the first place, but those ****s can beat it.

I hate them too. I am also wondering why the freakin Phils can't hit in the big moments and why they are even behind the Braves in the first damn thing. I know the Braves are good this year yes but the Phils are playing like crap, and have been all season (except for August, although we lost 4 straight to the damn Astros). What a joke.

Lolol, I just remembered that huge contract extension the Phillies gave Howard doesn't kick in until 2013. Ruben Amaro

Howard's worth it. The hitting on paper is great but it's not translating for some reason. If anything the only weak part of the Phillies team now is the relief pitching, but they're playing like they have a whole bucket ton of problems.

i dont understand this. the regular season is almost over why are transfers still taking place??

To be eligible to play in the post season you have to be on the teams roster by the 31st of August.

As expected, Manny is gone ftr. **** got ejected from his last game as a Dodger. tbf, was a disgraceful call.

He might be worth $25m a year at the mo, but the chances of him being worth anywhere near that when he's 37-38 or whatever are pretty remote.

Not really related, but he's been pretty dismal since coming back off the DL too, might it have been too soon, even if Sweeney can't hit a lick anymore?

2. Not really all the blame is on him. Hard to do anything when the whole team can't find their hitting stride.

couple of very important series going on right now- rays vs yankees and phillies vs braves. and yanks and phils just won their first games of the series today.

Rays/Yankees games have been so good lately.

If one of them doesn't win the world series I'd be very surprised.
