Can't unsign Fitzsimmons and put him up for bid again. I wouldn't be opposed to allowing Green a top draft pick on the current unsigned duo though. Certainly need it more than CW Black.

Don't see how that comes up. Green were first in the order and never actually signed someone so in fact it was Green who got screwed over.

Does seem Black are treated a tad unfairly due to current management issues at Green. Graven asked to sign Scotty, so I can't see how that isn't an offically signing unless Graven authority as captain has been taken away. The fact that Scotty is inactive now shouldn't make a difference in whether his an official signing or not. In realitively if Green didn't sign Scotty then Colts would have signed him at the time. Its not as if anyone focus them to sign the player at the time.
Disappointing that Raftey coverted to batsmen from Under 19 POV, we still don't have one specialist spinner in the pool of players. Oh well I guess it better to have another batting option that might bat, then a spinner who doesn't play a game.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
It's really unfortunate, because each side gets ****ed over no matter what. If Black gets Raftery, Green lose out. If Green get him, Black get unfairly ****ed over. Alternatively, Green could take Fitzsimmons and Black could take Raftery, and the Colts could lose out. WAC if we did? Probably not. But the principle is there.

If Scotty signs up and we sign him and then he goes inactive thats unfortunate, but thats the way the system works. If we want to change the system so that if a new signing goes inactive thats something that can be looked at, if someone could work something like that out that would be great. It should not be applied in retrospect though.

Scotty didn't agree to be signed and therefore he was not signed by Green. Also Garven only expressed interest in Scotty. He never officially offered him a contract. The fact is that the CWBCC accidentally overlooked that and took the word of Green having signed Scotty as true.
BUT I'm inclined to force CW Green to take Scotty if he confirms his signing in the 24 hours or so.

No, because that way you'd be put back to 2nd in the list and we'd get ****ed over again. There's no way Colts can lose in this, because if Fitzsimmons is reversed and Green take him, you still get Raferty before I get to pick.
