Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

Looks like a two horse race for me. For the sake of it though, I'll nominate Tom Halsey. 5th in wickets, second in bowling average, first in economy rate, and he played a useful role with the bat as well, scoring a couple of rapid half centuries. One of the key players in Blue's strong OD season.

Second Halsey and Stedman. The bowlers need some love.

Nominate Hoy - for brutal batting down the order and wicket-taking bowling.

Who can forget the mauling that Wilshere gave to the other teams from No. 7. I nominate Wilshere. Second Halsey and Hoy.

Though I think it's going to be either Markus or Camps.

Haha this isn't the voting thread. Haha, stupid Thomas.

Can I nominate Fitzsimmons? After a pretty mediocre career in OD cricket he seemed to find some form this year

Yeah, it's definitely Markus vs. Camps, but I'll also say Halsey is worth a shout.

Nominate Chaulk. Feel he's more deserving of the black nomination than myself.
