CWBCC is the Governing Body a.k.a the Board of the CW Cricket Nation.. Composing of 2 people. Co Chairman - Liam a.k.a Mr Mxyzptlk and Co Chairman - Reuben a.k.a Lord_of_darkness

And the Chairmans XI is a squad of XI, comprimising of players that the 2 Chairmans decide and agree on... its our equivalent to a Presidents XI i guess..(namesake)

That answers your query Robertinho?

Not to bombard you with questions or anything, but is it likely to be an experimental team or a workout for the likely test XI?

Should be an interesting series, looking forward to the games!

Wishing everyone who makes the squad the best of luck!

Yeah thats about how it always usually is.

I remember Michael Clarke played for one of those teams when he was just a nobody...back in the day.

The Chairman's XI this time around is composed of two experienced yet not incumbent Test players with an opportunity to force their way back into the team. There are two batsmen very likely to debut in the first Test and are looking to make an impact. One batsman gets a run out in the middle order to solidify a likely Test spot. Two players are there simply for exposure. One bowler will get a taste for use later in the series. One bowler tries his utmost to relinquish waterboy duties. On bowler attempts to force his way into the team from just outside. One bowler tries to retain his spot.

Delighted to open with Pete - though if I'm run-out early on, you know who to blame ;) Hopefully, we'll manage to send the Saffers' confidence down a bit.
