M di Venuto
Yashpal Singh
R Ponting
M Clarke (6/7)
JA Morkel (5)
Yuvraj Singh (6/7)
M Wade
J Faulkner (4)
J Pattinson (3)
J Anderson (2)
M Ntini (1)

Morkel to be used as a proper 5th option as needed. Clarke/Yuvraj only if we actually need spin. Declare when sensible, bat with tail as sensible.

This is happening? Holy ****, I never thought I'd see the day.

Selection was actually rather difficult, all my players are equally mediocre. Wanted to give Dockrell a game, but Botha performed in the trial.
  1. Alastair Cook *
  2. Sam Robson
  3. Nick Compton [7]
  4. Darren Bravo
  5. Faf du Plessis [5]
  6. Peter Nevill +
  7. Ben Stokes [6]
  8. Johan Botha [4]
  9. Neil Wagner [3]
  10. Nathan Rimmington [2]
  11. Trent Boult [1]

General Instructions:
  • Bowl Faf as a legitimate fifth option, but only chuck Stokes on as a partnership breaker or for a handful of overs. Compton if absolutely nothing is looking like working.
  • Bunny Boult.
