You getting mocked has less to do with content and more to do with the fact that it's you posting it tbh
can't disagree

Although I was not 'mocked' really, rather my idea was 'dismissed' by everyone in CW

Kishan looks much more promising than Pant apart from his moment where he got bowled off a full toss going for a switch hit. But Shreyas looks the best out of all the youngsters.

I'd go with this lineup in eng:

Rahul
Dhawan
Kohli
Rohit
Shreyas
Kishan/Dhoni/Pant
Pandya
Bhuvi
Kuldeep
Bumrah
Chahal

I remember suggesting Kohli move to 4 back in 2016/7 and being mocked for it.

You all suck
Well it depends. If you did it to advocate Rahane opening then **** you.

But similarly I recall suggesting this move to accommodate Rahul and lots of people were against it. Understandable I guess because Kohli was averaging 100 in ODIs that year.

Is there any Indian specialist batsman Indian fans actually like? I always see you guys pulling them to pieces - even Kohli? Alongside England they are probably the best one-day outfit right now so they must be doing something right.

We weren't criticizing Kohli. We believe our best batsman batting at 4 will stabilize the middle-order.

Rohit averages 53.xx in England in 12 games. What's up with you all asking him to move down because swing.

Swing isn't the main reason. I genuinely think Rohit-Kohli will be as solid a 3-4 as we can get. Opening will not be our problem.

Did Raina get dropped for a horrible run of form? I don't remember. Is he better than Shreyas and Jadhav?

Don't know why he was dropped. But he is not very old really to be shunted away (unlike Yuvraj). Can solve the big problem of lower order hitter & finisher in the team. Has experience and temperament that often trumps technique in limited over games (remember his contribution in quarter and semi in 2011 world cup?). Has to be in the team.

I am just happy about our bowling attack shaping up nicely tbh. Chahal, Kuldeep, Bhuvi and Bumrah is pretty good, with Shami available as a reserve in the 15.

I have a feeling Chahal will be dropped if he flops in the IPL, or at least given a very short leash. Washington Sundar might come in as the new flavour of the year since he can bat as well.
