Cobras are packing a couple of porkers.

Levi sure looks like he doesnt miss a meal.

Least they won a game I guess

Big problem but they deserve theirs spots on their main talent. Cobras really need to start looking at their youth structures. Big hopes for Clyde Fortuin, Jason Smith, Dayyaan Galiem with some of their recent players to come through the system but not quite grabbing their franchise chances. Verreynne/Hamza can hopefully carry on their good starts to the season but their batting is probably more suited to FC and List A. But good to see Verreynne back in the Cobras team for the last game. Building experience.

Good to see Toyana keep to his word and backing Rickelton and Ackerman. That means 4 St Stithians pupils with Rabada and Mulder aged 21, 21, 22 & 19 in the Lions team vs Warriors.

Well and truly gazumped KES as the cricketing institution in Joburg currently. It doesn't look like stopping with the Gauteng youth week squads for the end of the year too.

Typical Van der Dussen close eyes and slog to leg and skies it and surprise surprise Jerry Nqolo drops a sitter at 3rd man. Another poor piece of fielding. Standards are so far removed from what they should be.

Well played Reeza Hendricks. Another 50.

Rivkelton at 3 after 11 overs is different for him but played a nice confident reverse sweep now.

My Warriors normally manage to punch above their weight... but not in this tournament, been disappointing. Getting hammered in just about every single game.

We in the same boat mate

Warriors really can't do much else.

Nortje could come in for Birch but Birch doesn't deserve to miss out.

Have to wait for Breetzke and it would have to be Jonker to miss out.

Rickelton

Ackerman got a wide range of strokes to.

Two talents capable of scoring quickly from ball one and both very impressive runners between the wickets.

Lets be honest ... your Cobras are punching well below their weight, particularly with Levi and Philander in the team... :p

Wonder if Parnell is coming back to Warriors next season... Even the way he's bowling right now he'd probably make an improvement to the team (which says something about depth). Moore moering it in the second team today (vs. Border, the other half of Warriors B)...

The current fielding standard in SA cricket is horrible... I dont quite understand what's gone wrong, because regardless of talent you can always ensure your fielding is at a great standard. It is one of the biggest reasons SA competed so well when we re-entered international cricket. Are coaches just not doing intensive fielding drills any more?

^^ Agree

Good to see Leus du Plooy get an opportunity for the Knights. Lets see if he can take it.

Ferisco Adams looks to be a better bet for this format. Skiddy and quick arm as well as good yorkers. Want to see his batting.

The one he holed out to last game he hit quite nicely (but obviously not quite nicely enough.)

Think Levi's time with the Cobras is nearing an end. Just depends if they feel he can still do for them what he does for Northants.

But he isn't the only batsman that needs to buck up.

Ricardo Vasconcelos is in the squad.

Be mad if he didn't. Walters is toilet. Each year he gets slower and worse.

Every time he tweets/instagram he is in Green Point.or Camps Bay. Depends if he will give that up.
