they could send a side to bangladesh...

shikhar dhawan
suresh raina
dinesh karthik(wk)
rohan gavaskar(c)
ambati rayudu
gaurav dhiman
munaf patel
abhishek sharma
ashish nehra

and that may be bangladesh's first test win!
And yet Sriram cant get into the Indian side.

Is he destined never to play for India in Tests no matter how many first choice players the BCCI decide to rest and how good his record?

Did he tell the selectors what he thought of them?

That being side, I again ask, so what if money is the concern of the BCCI? Does Cricket Australia demand India play 4 test matches instead of the 3 that they played in India because they enjoy Indian cricketers so much that they want more of their company, or are they interested in the extra revenues from another test match? Did the ECB invite Zimbabwe to tour them because they wanted the Zimbabwe cricketers to see what democracy is like and hopefully bring it back to Zimbabwe?, or did they desperately need money?
1) The BCCI scheldule the amount of Tests it is up to CA to agree to disagree to it.

2) Zimbabwe toured England because it was scheluded to do so.

Fair points, but this is all aside from the main point of this thread. The Indian tour being canceled was clearly a mutual decision or at at least a decision the Bangladesh board was okay with. Notice there are no articles on Cricinfo detailing any Bangladeshi anger or complaint-lodging from the ICC? Also no nosy ICC officials seem to be saying anything. This points to two things: 1. India is so powerful no one wants to anger them (which seems unlikely considering the ICC loves ticking India off, case in point, making Bucknor the umpire for every match India plays, be it ODI, Test, Tour or Charity) or 2. Bangladesh really doesn't mind and knows India will tour shortly and that these cancellations are part of life, c'est la vie as they say.

Never thought of that.
