aight we have 13... think we should start?

first response gets to decide lol
Just a suggestion, given it's open to potentially ridiculous suggestions (which isn't a bad thing), you could make the rule that a selection must be accompanied with a photo relating the selection to cricket in some way... like that photo of Obama trying a defensive shot.. Although that might limit the imagination...so will leave that for you to decide...

Nah no way... Too limiting. Let's just go crazy with this.

Shady Slim

International Coach
was thinking a short justification of what they'd do could be in order imo (ie x is big so he's a power hitter) but i don't mind if that's a bad idea then no go - one thing that is necessary imo is to give a quick role in the team (spinner, batsman, and so on) so we at least have some idea of what's going on

24 hours for the first pick, 12 hours for each after that, good luck and have fun!

Greatest all-rounder the world has seen.

Pinch hitting middle-order bat with the levers longer than Chaminda Vaas' full name. Bats at 6 or 7.

Off-spin bowler with wrists so dynamic they make Murali's seem he's in handcuffs by comparison.

Best fieldsman of all-time, covering keeper through to gully on his own.

The Garfield Sober of non-cricketers. The one and only; Inspector Gadget

Sorry did not realize it was my go....

Sir Isaac Newton (any spin he wants)... because if anybody is going to work out the physical dynamics of spin bowling perfectly it will be him (and he was intelligent enough to actually be a perfect spinner).

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
The first time Kim Jong Il ever played cricket he smashed Malcolm Marshall for 4 consecutive sixes, finishing with 280 from 61 deliveries before graciously retiring. He then claimed a hat trick twice to clean up the batting lineup in two overs, reports from the game indicated that he was bowling yorkers at 180km/h which swung in from about 2 metres. Clearly an all-rounder that you cannot afford to leave out of any team.
