I was playing in a charity game (just locals raising money, nothing celebrity about it) and everyone played in their work clothes. Only about half the players had any real pretentions towards having any cricketing ability. I was one of these so opened the batting. I played a perfect forward defensive stroke, missed the ball and was bowled first ball by a nun in full uniform who'd never played cricket before.
