Afghanistan and Ireland are full memebers

You're right. But there's still a bit more to the tale.

Based on current forecasted revenues and costs, BCCI will receive $405m across the eight year cycle, ECB $139m, Zimbabwe Cricket $94m and the seven existing Full Members $128m each. The Associate Members (together with Ireland and Afghanistan) will collectively receive funding of $240m.

Brilliant performance from Scotland, sure the boundaries were pretty short, but still some great hitting. Hope the bowlers can put in a similarly impressive performance.

Well that was ****ing amazing. Was this a full strength English team?
Yep.

27 overs to go RR is 6.5 thanks to a Bairstow hundred from 50 odd balls. Looks like the Scots won't be winning this one unfortunately. Pretty massive effort with the bat though.

Considering how much Billings was talked up when he first started getting mentioned as an England prospect, he's done absolutely **** all of note with any of his chances.

Batting stocks are good at the moment, feel like we should be giving others a go.

Well done Sweaties, showing up the ICC decision once more.

Our bowling is by far the weaker link of the team and it is about time someone cashed in against it. More teams should be able to as it really is a very average attack.

Disappointing to see England lose, especially with the positions they got themselves into with the bat. With not many to win and 2 wickets in hand I was surprised they lost.

Good for cricket though after ICC's idiocy reducing teams in WC

I'm with the ICC on this one, it's stupid victories like these we need to prevent

Plunkett is strange, at times he can look pretty ordinary yet still take wickets. Even back in 2007 here in Australia, he was somewhat inconsistent but effective. Doesn't seem like a great deal has really changed since then

Anyway, massive congratulations to Scotland, excellent victory.

I really don't get how Wood, Willey and Plunkett keep getting selected.
Because:
a) England like picking bowlers who can bat, in order to add depth to their batting lineup.
b) England like selecting fast bowlers with real pace as they buy into the widely accepted myth that pace is needed to take wickets. Plunkett and Wood can both bowl over 90 mph. Willey isn't slow either.
c) England like to put their faith in certain players that they believe in, and give these guys a real chance to prove themselves over an extended period. This helps to avoid the 1990s mentality where many players failed to fulfill their full potential because they knew they could well be dropped after just one bad performance.
