Cricket Budget Draft

Well that transition from Round 9 to 10 went smoothly.

From what I can tell kyear gets Glenn Turner and Marcuss needs to pick another opener. That is, Glenn Turner was a valid pick that concluded Round 9 and locked it down.

IMO Morgieb should pick straight away because he's perfectly entitled to after any invalid pick, and we keep things moving rather than wait till tomorrow (again). Kyear and Marcuss can decide between themselves who gets Glenn Turner if the need be. Maybe pistols at 10 paces?

Round 10
136. kyear2 = Jock Cameron
137. Marcuss = Bob Simpson
138. morgieb = Hanif Mohammed
139. BackFootPunch = Bill Lawry
140. ankitj = Hugh Trumble
141. Monk
142. Cabinet96 = Absent

146. GIMH
147. smalishah84

Going to trade 100 wickets for 3000 runs and pick up Rohan Kanhai, which will allow me the absurd luxury of batting Lara at #4 or #5.

Monk's XI

- Bill Ponsford
- Archie Jackson
- Rohan Kanhai
- Brian Lara
- Peter May *

- Farokh Engineer +
- Alan Davidson

The most naturally gifted West Indian to pick-up a bat with the exception of Sobers IMO.

Very jealous.

Just quietly, I'm killing this draft with the powerful combo I've created.

Come at me anyone who thinks they'd stand even half a chance against us.

Ponsford's footwork against fast bowling was cumbersome and reflected in the fact that he made most of his big scores after Bodyline. Archie Jackson while obviously talented is a relative unknown in the Test match arena.

In short, your openers would be blown away by Lillee, Procter, and Roberts within the first hour of a Test match, thus exposing your middle-order to the new ball. As a guess, all out for 250 odd.

Well, you did ask for it
