Ended up rolling them for 27. Our blokes batted the 50 overs out then let them have another hit.

Last full day tonoorw - tour then bet session at Lord's before going the the Oval to watch a T20. Boys leave Saturday.

They've had a ridiculously good time, especially with the Italian girls' soccer team which was billeted in the same place as them in Cardiff.

"How many are we?" I ask our scorer, ignoring the answer as I covertly scan over her shoulder to confirm I made 16; later to become "20-odd"

Just watched the Rebel Australians vs SA 'test' highlights video, which might be my favourite cricket video. Carl Rackemann's taking 28 of the 52 SA wickets to fall in the series is a rather remarkable achievement.

The immortal DK Lillee turns 68 today.

Dat ball to get Sobers at about the 40 second mark.....

Even though he was a tearaway early on, you can still see him producing leg cutters as early as the 72 Ashes. FMD he was a great bowler.

I see old clever clogs Ashwin has got himself in trouble by comparing the return of CSK in the IPL, to that of Manchester United after the Munich tragedy.

    Love that action.

Some amazing catching behind the wicket too, especially from Greg Chappell. Such an underrated aspect of basically every great team in test history.

Such a stupid stupid thing to say though. Obviously the best comparison he could find to a corrupt franchise being rightfully banned for 2 years is a a tragedy in which a club's entire team was killed.

I thought Ashwin was supposed to have brains? Apparently the 'human decency' part has been squeezed out.
