On Christmas Day Radio 5 Live carried a special feature about an innovative and remarkably successful charity called Cricket Without Boundaries which combines cricket coaching in sub-Saharan Africa with AIDS/HIV education. The podcast can be found here. Worth a listen.

If anyone is interested, a fellow County junior coach (Martin Fears from Shropshire) is heading out to Botswana this Easter to coach for the CWB project.

I've played in such games. Our coach used to use them as training exercises (improves both fitness and cricket skills (particularly throwing/relay throwing).
Sucks if your batting partner is a big hitter and fast runner. After running two nines in a row I had to fake an injury and retire hurt (I gave up the cigs eventually/peahearted).
